Accidental Cutting experimental pattern cutting method by Eva Iszoro

“SYNTHETIC PERVERSIONS”_2024, RENDER ART SERIES

Artistic series of 3D art virtual textile sculptures, still artistic images, animations.

In “Synthetic Perversions,” the unusual volumes and textures create a unique visual language and acquire open meanings that balance between the cultural significance of synthetic beauty, artificial luxury of the plastic age of the consumerism times and the obscene, perverse, and wild. This artwork, like others by Eva Iszoro, expresses concepts and emotions in a very personal way through virtual textile models generated with the experimental pattern-making method Accidental Cutting, intellectual property of Eva Iszoro. This method aims at discovering previously non-existent volumes through abstract, accidental cuts and flat patterns.

The human figure is present in an invisible way; it is intuited but not always evident. On the other hand, the pink synthetic plush dress and its fragments cease to be inert, lifeless objects and comes to life. The human merges with the animal. The unusual volumes made of pink artificial fur contrast with cuts on the neck, arms, and other parts of the garment, suggesting at the same time: smooth sophistication, flaps of wrinkled flesh, ventricles, testicles, and sectioned arteries of a slaughtered animal. The shapes twist into expressive poses, provoking with the luxurious and tactile quality of the texture and shapes, and invite exploration of different interpretations.
